You can turn any piece of computer paper (or colored card stock) into a quarter-fold card by using labels! Included with this card craft are the free printable labels that you see here, along with the free printable "envelope" (that you fold and glue).

Here are three ideas for a Mother's Day card for a Mom, a Grandma, or a Step-Mom. Use regular computer paper or card stock to make these cards.

Shown here are colored card stock (which is available at stores like Office Depot), the free printable labels used to make the cards, invitation-size envelopes (or you can use the free printable envelope, also shown).

First, download the free printable Mother' Day Card labels and the blank envelope:

Step 1.

After you have downloaded the labels and before you print them, you can change the text (what the labels say), the font (the typeface), and/or the font color.

If you need a little help with how to use fonts, colors, and positioning text, then read my helpful (and easy-to-follow) tutorial Working with Word...it's easier than you think!

Begin to fold a piece of computer paper, or card stock, to make a quarter-fold card by folding the paper in half.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 2.
Then fold the paper in half again.
This is a basic quarter-fold card.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 3.

The label for the card for Mom reads:

Outside:

Your Mom is always your Mom...

...no matter how old you are...

Inside:

I'm glad I'm still your "little girl"... Happy Mother's Day

Peel off the label for the outside, and stick it onto the front of your folded card.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 4.
Peel off the label for the inside, and stick it onto the inside right of your folded card.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 5.

If you are using the free printable blank envelope, then fold and glue it together, following the numbered lines on the printed envelope.

For more help with how to fold the envelope, go to:

Step 6.

The card for a grandmother reads:

Outside:

A grandmother is just a Mom who has a little more experience...

Inside:

Happy Mother's Day, Grandma!

Be sure to change "Grandma" to whatever you call your grandmother. If you have two grandmothers, then simply copy the text for the outside and inside labels, and paste it over the Mom or the Step-Mom text (if you aren't using those labels). Otherwise, open a new document, make a new template for the labels, and paste into the blank label boxes (see the tutorial for instructions).

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 7.
The card for a step-mom reads:
Outside:
Just because you're my Step-Mom doesn't mean you're not my "real Mom"
Inside:
Thanks for always treating me like your "real kid"... Happy Mother's Day
You can change the text to suit your personal desires (and to express how you feel about your step-mom).
This completes the Mother's Day card-making craft using the free printable labels.
