You can use these
beautiful rose-print gift bags to create delightful little gifts for Mom
on Mother's Day this year! The gift bags are perfect for small gifts,
such as the examples shown here, or the "gift bags" can be used as
"envelopes" for the quarter-fold cards that match this motif (also
available at Mom's Break Mother's Day, link shown in a gift bag/matching
card sample below). The gift bags can be printed on plain white computer paper (8-1/2 x 11"). You can also print them on light pastel-colored paper. Card stock is not recommended as the heavier paper is harder to fold and glue closed. Get the collection of Mother's Day Gift Bags at: Mom's Break Mother's Day. |

The "gift bag" itself
(shown here without the rose print or "Happy Mother's Day" saying) is
simple to fold and glue shut. This printable format also serves as an envelope (that is suitable for mailing) for any quarter-fold card. For a complete tutorial for how to fold and glue this gift bag/envelope, go to: |

Print the gift bag that you want to use and follow the numbered fold lines to fold, and then glue together (following the general illustrated instructions of the tutorial provided above). After you fold and glue the sides, there will be a "flap" left over. This will be the flap that you can fold over and glue closed when you have put your gift in the bag. |

I found this small frame
at my local dollar store (for $1 of course!). I scanned in my
kindergarten picture (yep! that's me...in 1957), printed it, and trimmed
to fit the frame. I'm sure my Mom will laugh when she sees this... ...and I'll bet it goes right on her bedroom bureau! This makes a nice gift idea for your kids to give to Grandma, too! |

Why not combine the
rose-print gift bags with the matching rose-print quarter-fold cards
that are also available as free printable Mother's Day cards from Mom's
Break? As shown here, I selected this lovely fully flowered rose, and chose the same rose that has the "blank" inside the card. I've added a pre-paid phone card, and I'll send this to Mom: "I really miss our long afternoon chats, Mom...
...call me!" This is an especially thoughtful gift for Moms who are now living on a fixed income. Get the free printable Mother's Day cards at: Mom's Break Mother's Day. |
